Validate Yard Model
The Validate yard model form lists the results of the validations that N4 performs when validating the yard model. This includes:
Duplicate bin names: See Messages tab (on page 1).
Track plans that have prestage groups and prestage locations but no rail tracks: See Messages tab (on page 1).
Empty vertex values: See Messages tab (on page 1).
Obsolete bin name tables for both stack blocks and yard sections: See Stack Blocks - Obsolete Bin Name Table tab (on page 1) and Yard Sections - Obsolete Bin Name Table tab (on page 1).
Conflicting block naming schemes: See Block Name Scheme tab (on page 1).
Bad geometries in yard blocks. You can resolve bad geometries by regenerating the geometries of the problematic yard blocks. See Regenerate geometries (on page 1).
If you do not define the minimum required logical blocks in the Logical Blocks form, then when validating the yard model in the Validate yard model form, exporting a compiled yard file, or applying yard model changes, N4 creates any missing required logical blocks. For more information, see the table in the Logical Blocks view (on page 1).
By default, N4 opens the form on the Messages tab.
